Two lovers give birth to a third reality: a “we”. Marriage makes the “yes” public, the guests are witnesses to this alliance. This (new) solid start can be used as an anchor in the event of a subsequent quagmire: “What was it we said “yes!” to?”.

Congratulations cards

A child is born or a place at university is secured, the move to a new flat is possible, the desired job is offered, the romantic relationship makes it to the marriage bureau, the friendship has returned… When life tells us “yes”, the intensity of emotion can become overwhelming. And who celebrates all this with us? Hurry, somebody! Someone who looks in our eyes and sincerely thinks: “I share your happiness!”

Goodbye

A saying attributed to different religions and writers says, in essence: “We must not cry because it no longer exists, but we must smile because it did”. Smile now, really? The end of a day, a vacation, a relationship, a job, a life phase, a whole life can bring intense pain. And yet it is the condition of every cycle. How can we accept that everything come to an end?

The text comes from my clientele and the design for a composition proposal was born in my workshop. I write your message by hand. The result: delicate new year’s cards, which encourage reflection or bring a touch of humour for a new start under the best auspices.
